The West Pier – Misty Morning

This is a companion print to the one I did of The West Pier on a summers evening.

I didn’t intend to produce a second version of the West Pier, but I was experimenting with ways to illustrate light and mist. I also felt that the reflections of the pier in the earlier version could be improved.

Since the first version of the pier featured starlings, I thought it might be good to include seagulls this time. They aren’t very popular in Brighton, to be honest. They are seen as quite a menace as they will very quickly steal your fish and chips or ice cream out of your hands!
